This is embarrassing

I lost my password.

I couldn't figure out what it was and I didn't even know which email this was sending the hint/reset/etc. stuff to.

But now I'm back.

All I have been watching the last long while has been The IT Crowd (BBC) and Lost.

Oh, and a smattering of Spaced and Black Books.

First: The IT Crowd. Jen (Katherine Parkinson) lands a job managing the IT Dept at a huge multinational company... except she doesn't know a thing about computers. From Graham Lineham (of Black Books) comes this extremely silly, thoroughly likeable 6-episode comedy of geeks. Best moments: The first 5 seconds of the first episode, "Yesterday's Jam", "hot ear", "emergency services," and the entirety of episode 5, "The Haunting of Bill Crouse." There are more, but I have things to do, so that's all I'll say for now. They're not out in the US so download, download! Then be sure to buy the dvds if/when they come out.

Lost: My boyfriend has been having a run of the 4, 8, 15, 16, 23, 42's. This would be funnier, except he has to fly next Wednesday, right after my birthday. I told him to make sure he gets seat 23A and at all costs NOT 42F.

Spaced: Shaun of the Dead's Simon Pegg rents flat with complete stranger after fiancee kicks him out for a guy with a future. Not my thing. I think I was born about a decade too early for any of it to make sense to me. Also I don't smoke pot or drink... The jokes are pretty well wasted on me.

Black Books: Haven't finished it yet, but excellent! It helps that one of the writers is IT Crowd's Graham Lineham. Stars the guy who was after Simon Pegg's girlfriend Liz in SotD. Bloody brilliant.
