Holy Hell: The Book of Daniel |
|
is already canceled. Shame. I was wondering what would become of the closeted gay mobster, the newly gay but might be bi- sister-in-law, the gay but might be straight or possibly bi- son, the adopted Chinese definitely straight and very hott son, the cynical, pot-dealing, manga-drawing daughter, the represse but very supporting and loving wife, and the pill-addicted Jesus-seeing Rev. Daniel played by Aidan Quinn. Oh, I didn't even get to his bishop father who is thinking of cheating on his wife (who has Alzheimers) with another bishop... It was all too much for God's chosen people so they picketed and protested it off the airwaves. It's a damn shame. I don't know if they're even going to release the other unaired episodes somehow... I really think this show should have been on HBO or Showtime. They would have done very well as a series I think, for open-minded Christians and religious-minded gays, and anyone who enjoys watching hot young men, and skinny blonde but not traditionally hot women... Or we could just stick around and see if Conviction (another Dick Wolf bright idea) is any good... |
